Eddie Von Walt and the Infinite Bulb is a hands-only VR roguelike for Meta Quest: you run a bar inside a power plant gone mad in 1984, serve thirsty cubes and, when the storm hits, stop them with whatever you have on the counter. As of today it is out in Early Access, for free, on Meta Quest Store and SideQuest.

What's in the Early Access
No controllers: everything is a pinch. You grab a bottle, pour a beer or a vodka, throw. Every night starts calm, with customers ordering drinks, and then lightning hits, the alarm blares, the lights die and the cubes lean over your counter.
- Nights and weeks. A week is six nights plus a boss. Each week changes the rules: thieves, blackouts, thirstier and more nervous customers.
- Recipes. After each night you pick one of three. They change the rules of your run and you can upgrade them. Curses come with the merchant's deals.
- The merchant, the jukebox and the book. You pay with the tokens customers leave behind. The book collects recipes, gloves and stats.
- Weapons. The phase probe chains lightning between cubes, the breaker stops the whole street for a few seconds.
- The boss. THE BIG FUSE closes every week.
- The seed. Every run has a code you can replay.
What it is and what it isn't
Early Access is an incomplete version, on purpose. It has the heart of the game, the part you see in the trailer, and I'm using it to learn what works and what doesn't. So far it's been tested on Quest 3S and is declared for Quest 3 and 3S. Quest 2 is not supported.
The full game is planned as a paid release, and Early Access owners will get it included. There's no release date or price yet: when there are, you'll find them here and on the game page.
